Charlie was born 13 weeks early on the 17th December 2012, due to being born early Charlie required ventilation to assist with his breathing, this with time the doctors said should improve as he grew, and for the 1st 4 months this appeared to be the case, but after this time Charlie started to deteriorate and ventilation became steadily more difficult, until on the 23rd July 2013 and just over 7 months old Charlie passed away in his dads arms.
